Intelligent Document Processing

We have developed, as part of a proof of concept (PoC), an intelligent solution for our customer that automatically processes asset statements in a wide range of formats (PDF, image formats etc.) and languages. This solution efficiently scans and interprets financial documents from up to 50 banks and financial institutions, extracts the data and processes it without media disruption.

The solution uses OCR (optical character recognition), and ML (machine learning).

For our customers, this results in time savings, high data quality, scalability and flexibility, a reduced error rate and real-time process monitoring.

Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) automation

We have identified a use case for a large machine manufacturer to automate the CAM process, and we have supported the implementation together with Microsoft. The AI system supports technicians in determining the optimal tools for the milling machines, learns from the best results and allows the data to be made available to competitors in return for payment.

The solution was developed on the basis of Microsoft Azure and AI technology from Open AI.

Our customer was able to reduce the duration of the CAM process from 6 minutes to 2 minutes, which results in a time saving of 700,000 hours per year for the 40,000 technicians. In addition, the solution learns from the experience of the highly skilled technicians, and it generates new sources of revenue for the customer.

Bacteria Classification

For a university hospital, we have developed an AI-based control and classification solution for a laser-equipped robot for bacteria colonies scanning. The solution recognises mature colonies and classifies them in a non-destructive process. This technology was the basis for a PhD.

The solution uses a modified version of CNN (Convolutional Neural Networks) combined with a proprietary Mathematical Optimisation Method that increases speed and accuracy.

For the hospital, this solutions saves costs and the classification time for the bacteriology technician drops from an average of 36h to 20h. Ultimately, this solution saves lives.

Together with Microsoft, we supported and accompanied the development and implementation of an AI-based tool to support job placement for a large employment agency. The tool helps the recruitment experts to identify suitable roles for the candidates, even if these roles are outside their usual areas of work.

The solution was developed on the basis of Microsoft Azure and AI technology from Open AI, is fully integrated into the client's infrastructure and allows direct interaction with the candidates.

The tool helps individuals explore new roles with confidence. It provides personalized role recommendations, assesses required skills and experience, and evaluates fit based on preferences and salary expectations. LinkedIn and CV parsing streamline skill profile creation for a seamless experience.
